Since her debut in Germany with Brahms‘ first piano concerto, she has performed in Europe and Japan. She is becoming increasingly enthusiastic about chamber music, for example in collaborations with Stephan Koncz, Emanuel Graf, Ingolf Turban, Markus Wolf and Wen-Sinn Yang.
Tomoko Sawallisch was selected by Steinway & Sons as a “Steinway Artist” in 2015 and thus belongs to an exclusive circle of internationally recognized pianists and artistic personalities.
Tomoko Sawallisch lives near Munich. In addition to concert and teaching activities, she is a member of the advisory board of the Prof. Wolfgang Sawallisch Foundation and its representative in Japan.
The former student of Gerhard Oppitz, who received her first piano lessons from her mother at the age of four, won numerous prizes and awards in her home country of Japan.

Tomoko Sawallisch lebt bei München. Neben Konzert- und Unterrichtstätigkeit wirkt sie als Beiratsmitglied der Prof. Wolfgang-Sawallisch-Stiftung und deren Repräsentantin in Japan.
Die ehemalige Meisterstudierende von Gerhard Oppitz, die bereits im Alter von vier Jahren ihren ersten Klavierunterricht von ihrer Mutter erhielt, gewann zahlreiche Preisen und Auszeichnungen in ihrem Heimatland Japan.
